Sky High for St. Jude has been raising money to help children fighting cancer and funding research so that one day OUR children will no longer have to face pediatric cancer. It is wonderful how this noble and worthwhile cause brings the communities in Louisiana and Texas together. This year GATE Energy is actively participating in the annual event here in Houston. There is a concert, dinner and sporting clay event including a live and silent auction. On February 10th at Lakeside Country Club and February 11th at West Side Sporting Grounds will be some of the most generous people in all the world.

Volunteerism is one of our core values. GATE Energy continues to give back through our community outreach programs such as Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, MS150, and the Houston Food Bank.

Special Olympics will change your life, sign up to volunteer at one of your local school’s events and see for yourself what courage, perseverance, and pure joy looks like!
Give your time and bring your children with you to help a homeless shelter, a senior citizen center, or an animal rescue center. Compassion is virtue our fast-paced world could use more of.
Adopt a Highway or pathway in your community and commit to keeping it clean for a year. Regularly go out and pick up trash, you are making everyone’s world a more beautiful place.
